About Us

At 5600 Lonas Drive, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #160 has been a cornerstone of Knoxville life for well over a century. Walk through the doors on a Friday night and you might catch a live band filling the hall while friends claim their favorite tables, drinks in hand. That combination of easy camaraderie and genuine fun is exactly what keeps members coming back, and what earns this lodge a 4.5-star reputation across dozens of reviews.

The lodge is more than a gathering spot. During the summer, the outdoor pool draws families and friends for afternoon swims, giving younger members a reason to love the place just as much as the adults do. When a couple books the hall for a wedding, the staff shows up attentive and organized, keeping cocktails flowing at prices that won't shock anyone. The Elks are known nationally for their commitment to veterans, youth programs, and local scholarships, and Lodge #160 carries that mission proudly in Knox County.

The BPOE was founded on the idea that charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity aren't just words on a wall. Here on Lonas Drive, they show up as meal nights, fundraisers, and a community that genuinely looks out for its own.

What We Offer

Lodge #160 hosts a rotating calendar of events that members actually look forward to. Live band nights pack the hall and give local musicians a real stage. Private event rentals, including weddings and receptions, come with a full bar, attentive staff, and room rates that make the country club down the road look overpriced by comparison.

Beyond the social calendar, the lodge offers access to the swimming pool throughout the summer season, a full-service bar for members and their guests, and regular dinner nights where the kitchen turns out hot, home-style meals. Seasonal fundraisers support veterans, local youth scholarships, and community charities that matter to Knox County families.

Membership also unlocks reciprocal privileges at Elks Lodges nationwide, which means traveling members are never far from a familiar welcome. Whether you're joining for the events, the pool, or the sense of purpose that comes with belonging to something bigger, Lodge #160 has a seat at the table for you.

"Went for a Halloween get together. A suprise marriage ceremony. There were several decorated tables, and good food. There was dancing in the middle of the room. Also there was a silent auction. A contest for the best costume. The best decorated hat. They also had a special place for drinks. There was a photographer taking your selfies. Very relaxing. A great place for a reception or party."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
